Day 40: Exhausted
Happy Day 40 of Another 100 Days of Hannah, y’all!
First things first: y’all, I’m exhausted.
Today was another drive across the state day.
Except, between an accident on the toll road and traffic going 45 on the 2 lane road that I took to the facility, I think it took me 2.5 hours to get to a location that should have only taken an 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Annnd then, when I finally got to the facility, I had to get another COVID test, and then they weren’t sure where to put me...
So by the time I started seeing patients, it was 10:00.
Annnd there were 14 patients on the schedule (13 of which were seen).
Annd, at the end of the day, the social services lady (who was really nice, don’t get me wrong) decided to stop and chat for 30 minutes.
Which meant that I didn’t leave the facility ‘til 4.
Thankfully though, I didn’t have to drive back home since I’m going to another facility on that side of the state tomorrow.
I get to stay at a hotel and count it as a work expense!
(Yeah, I’m a lil excited about that one.)
From there though... I’m not really sure what to write about tonight - my brain’s too tired from today. So, I guess I’ll let it go at that and catch y’all in the morning.
